  • Leptomeninges of the dorsal surface of the brain are swollen, blood vessels are with thickened walls (Aw) –tuberculotic vasculitis (endarteriitis which can be complicated with thrombosis).
  • The fibrinous exudate over the arterial wall shows a single layer of epithelial cells and one giant multinucleted Langhan’s type cell(inset).
  • No typical tubercles are seen.
