  • A ‘jelly-like’ tumor mass, removed from osteolytic bone lesions showing diffuse neoplastic proliferation of mature plasma cells (‘pear’-shaped: oval, with eccentric nucleus, lightening around it and collateral basophilia).  Single plasmoblasts are also present– much larger, with dispersed chromatin in their nuclei together  multinucleated (doublenuclear)atypical plasma cells.
