Papillary cystadenoma of the ovary

  • Presented is wall of the cyst, covered with one layer cylindrical epithelium.
  • Inside the cyst  there are branched three-like papillae consisting of central swollen connective tissue stroma (central core), covered with cubic or cylindrical epithelium.
  • Basement membrane is not destroyed
  • At some places are found ‘free’ lying transversally cut papillae.
