Micronodular cirrhosis of liver
- Liver architecture Is impaired by a diffuse growth of connective tissue which connects portal spaces and surrounds one or more hepatic lobules .
- Different in size, up to 5 mm, (pseudo) lobules are formed.
- Some of them do not contain central veins.
- Part of hepatocytes undergo fatty degeneration (small vacuoles).
- Connective tissue is infiltrated by lymphocytes and plasma cells.
- Among it there are a lot of blood vessels and proliferated bile ducts.
