  • Liver architecture Is impaired by a diffuse growth of connective tissue which connects portal spaces and surrounds one or more hepatic lobules      .
  • Different in size, up to 5 mm, (pseudo) lobules are formed.
  • Some of them do not contain central veins.
  • Part of hepatocytes undergo fatty degeneration (small vacuoles).
  • Connective tissue is infiltrated by lymphocytes  and plasma cells.
  • Among it there are a lot of blood vessels and proliferated bile ducts.
