Chronic lymphogenic leukemia in liver
- Unaffected liver lobules with lavish ‘round’ cell infiltrates , located perivasally (around ramifications of a. hepatica and v. portae) in portal spaces .
- At higher magnification, they look like cells from lymphocytic origin, mostly lymphocytes– with round hyperchromatic nuclei with scant cytoplasm and single lymphoblasts– much larger with vesicular nuclei and slight poly-morphism.
