Chronic lymphogenic leukemia in liver

 

  • Unaffected liver lobules with lavish ‘round’ cell infiltrates , located  perivasally (around ramifications of  a. hepatica and v. portae) in portal spaces .
  • At higher magnification, they look like cells from lymphocytic  origin, mostly lymphocyteswith round hyperchromatic  nuclei with scant cytoplasm and single lymphoblasts–  much larger with vesicular nuclei and slight poly-morphism.
