In benign arterial hypertension both kidneys are with symmetrically reduced sizes and firm consistency (sharp cut borders ).
Their surface is diffusely granular. “Granules” with the size of 1-2 mm comply with the  hyperthrophic nephrones, and depressions are over  deeply located hyalinized kidney bodies.
Kidney cortex is tapered. Fat tissue in organ chylus has secondarily grown.
